The complaint form

When you contact us, we will ask you what has happened and we will decide if we have the power to deal with your complaint.

Don't worry there are no complicated forms to fill in - a member of our enquiry team will write down the details and send you a filled-in complaint form.

Please make sure that you:

  • check the information on the form;
  • do not write any additional information on the form;
  • return one signed copy, keeping the other for your records and;
  • send copies of any additional information you have to support your complaint. We will be unable to return any original documents that you send us.

We recycle all of the paper we receive and cannot return original documents. If you can, please scan and email your documents to enquiries@energy-ombudsman.org.uk. This will help us to register your complaint more quickly.

By signing the complaint form, you agree to let the company share with us any information it has about you and the service it has provided to you, which may be relevant to your complaint.

Once we have this information our process will begin.
